Accessible Learning Services

Our team and services in all areas of expertise within SWAC are available through a combination of in-person and remote options. Rental Textbook Return Instructions 

Are you looking to return a rental textbook? Here’s what you need to know. 

Sign into your account using the same email address you provided at the register in-store or entered when you rented online. Note: If you don’t know your password, that’s okay – just click “Forgot Password” to reset. Once you’ve signed in, you will be taken to the Rentals page to view your rental account information and rental history. Click “Return all Rentals by Mail” and follow the steps to print your packing slip.   

Print your packing slip and include it in your rental shipment. Your packing slip is crucial to include in your box – it identifies you, what you’re returning, and where to send your rentals.

Course Materials 

Students can purchase everything from their course materials to supplies such as notebooks, paper, writing instruments, calculators, and more to aid in their studies on or off-campus.   

Order online at both the North Campus and the Lakeshore Campus store websites. Free pick up is available in-store.   

Options available for course materials:  

  • Print: Textbooks (format Hardcover, Softcover, Loose Leaf)   
  • Digital: Either PDF e-book or Adaptive Learning/Homework Management 
  • Bundles: Two or more textbooks or textbook with digital card sold as one unit  

We carry rental, digital and used textbook formats to help save you money.   

The campus stores carry a wide variety of 英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 and University of Guelph-英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 gifts and swag. You can also customize a program sweater (hoodie or crewneck). We have nine colours to choose from, with a minimum order of 12 pieces. Get an additional 20% discount on the order at the time of your purchase. Math & Writing Centres

Peer Assisted Learning Support

Drop by our office at WEL 105 (Lakeshore Campus) or LRC 3045 (North Campus). If you are interested in learning more, please check out our websites below and/or email peer.tutoring@humber.ca . Staff are monitoring and responding to emails.   

In addition to supporting students in person, we also offer our services remotely during our regular hours of operation. We continue to provide free peer-led academic support for all 英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 and University of Guelph-英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 students.

Indigenous Education & Engagement

The Indigenous Education & Engagement Centres at North and Lakeshore campuses have developed expanded events, resources and student support offerings. 

IE&E operates a Residence Lounge at the Lakeshore Campus for Indigenous students, similar to the North Campus Wigwamen Lounge. These designated spaces are a home away from home and open 24/7 to all students in residence.

Mental and Physical Health

Students and staff coming to the Fitness Centre must book a session for their approximate time of arrival for waiver and policy review and confirmation through the existing attendance system at the links below. In-person fitness classes will be hosted as “first come, first served” with limited capacities at this time.   

Users must present the following to gain access, which will be verified at check-in by 英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 Athletics staff as per 英雄联盟竞猜线上入口靠谱 Athletics Centre policies: 

  1. A photo ID e.g. Staff, Residence, Student card, or Government-issued (to be visually verified by Athletics staff) 
  2. Calendly attendance confirmation (to be visually verified by Athletics staff) 
  3. Proof of enrolment for students e.g. timetable, blackboard (to be visually verified by Athletics staff) 

Athletics currently no longer offers towel service. For those wishing to shower, please supply your own towel(s). We hope to resume regular towel service as soon as feasible and when safe to do so. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Student Support and Intervention Coordinators (SSICs) are continuing to meet with students by appointment, most often via phone or online conferencing platforms. To arrange an appointment, please call 416-675-6622 ext. 2102 or email SICsupport@humber.ca . SSICs work with students and offer ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy by connecting them with supports and services on campus and within the community. They work with students in accessing supports, navigating resources, and various policies and procedures at the college. Their goal is to support a student's overall well-being and academic success. 

SSICs also receive disclosures of sexual violence. Through a trauma informed, survivor-centric, anti-oppressive lens, they inform survivors on wellness supports, reporting options, mental health supports, and more. Their goal is to ensure survivors feel supported, so that they can focus on their wellness and recovery while remaining successful in their academic pursuits.
